Elderflower & Elderberry Herbal Tea is a 100% natural herbal tea combining dried elderflowers and elderberries, grown in Quebec by Fruitomed. This unique blend provides natural antioxidants with antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties, particularly beneficial for upper respiratory health. Available in a 75g loose-leaf format.
Elderflower Herbal Tea (alone): rich in flower flavonoids, ideal for allergies, with diuretic and expectorant effects. Elderflower & Elderberry Herbal Tea: combines the flavonoids from the flowers AND the anthocyanins from the berries, offering a complete synergy — antihistamine, antiviral, and antioxidant. This is the most versatile choice to cover immunity, respiratory health, and cellular protection.
Two 100% natural ingredients, grown in Quebec, with no additives or added sugar:
Dried elderflowers (Sambucus nigra / canadensis)
Dried elderberries (Sambucus canadensis)
No preservatives, no artificial flavors, no caffeine.
For one cup, steep approximately 1 g of the mixture (one heaping teaspoon) in 250 ml of simmering water for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain with an herbal tea infuser (available at the Fruitomed store). The longer the steeping time, the darker the color and the better the polyphenols are extracted. Can be enjoyed hot or cold, with honey or lemon if desired.
The taste is delicious – fuller-bodied and fruitier than the plain flower herbal tea, thanks to the addition of dried elderberries which provide a naturally sweet and slightly tart touch. Users describe it as comforting, well-rounded, and perfectly balanced. Excellent on its own, it also pairs very well with a little honey.
No. This herbal tea is 100% caffeine-free, theine-free, with no added sugar and no preservatives. It is suitable at any time of day, including in the evening - ideal for relaxing before bed while supporting your immunity.
A 75 g bag makes approximately 75 cups of herbal tea (at a rate of 1 g per cup). At a rate of one cup per day, a bag lasts more than 2 months. Dried flowers and berries can be stored for a long time if placed in an airtight container, away from light and humidity.
