Natural antioxidant

Fruitomed makes natural antioxidants more accessible through its Immunia polyphenol concentrates. The polyphenols found in dark berries are molecules with antioxidant capabilities beneficial to health. These molecules help fight against the formation of free radicals which, with age, accumulate in excess in the body.

According to an article written by Dr. Richard Béliveau (*Polyphenols, Longevity Molecules, Journal de Montréal, November 11, 2013), a large number of epidemiological studies have shown that high consumption of polyphenol-rich foods is associated with a significant decrease in chronic diseases.

The immune system, our shield

The immune system is essential for our body. It is our best defense system against diseases: it fights viruses, combats bad bacteria, and kills parasites and tumor cells.

Studies show that polyphenols regulate immune function and affect epigenetic mechanisms that mediate the modulation of the immune response.

A balanced and healthy immune system allows our body (our terrain) to be armed against the aggressions of modern life! This is why we named our product line "IMMUNIA," with a golden shield logo.

Helps relieve joint pain

Inflammation is the immune system's normal protective response to injury or harmful external stimuli such as pathogens, allergens, and other irritants. Inflammation serves to resolve infections and repair damaged tissues.

However, inflammation that persists due to a recurrent stimulus can lead to chronic inflammation and contributes to the onset of several inflammatory diseases such as arthritis and rheumatism. The combination of different polyphenols helps relieve this joint pain.

Studies show that consuming a diet rich in polyphenols has a significant effect on reducing inflammatory stress soon after consumption, highlighting the importance of consuming polyphenol-rich foods as often as possible.

Dark berries for a healthy gut microbiome

The gut microbiota

According to a study by Laval University (INAF), polyphenols help stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria, such as Akkermansia muciniphila, which is found in the gut and is largely responsible for the health of the intestinal flora and even weight control.

A study conducted by researchers Roopchand et al. confirms these findings and reported that the administration of a daily dose of 26.2 mg of polyphenols had prebiotic effects on Akkermansia and improved the health of the intestinal flora (microbiota).

Note that in each daily dose (5 ml) of our Immunia SYNERGY product, you get an intake of almost 40 mg of polyphenols. It is therefore a supplement to favor for the health of your intestinal microbiota... which will have great benefits for the health of your immune system.
